Preserved modified potato starch for fluid loss control &amp; rheology stabilizer in fresh water &amp; saturated salt water muds. Drillamyl is thermally stable to 125°C / 257°F. Potato starch is recognized as the most preferred starch in water based muds, due it’s high purity and excellent filter cake forming properties.
Drillamyl is a range of non-ionic 100 % modified potato starch for use in all water-based drilling, completion and stimulation fluids. All our products exceed the industry standards laid down in API 13A, ISO 13500 and OCMA DFCP5.

Stabodrill HT - Drilling fluids

Highly modified potato starch and excellent thermal stability to about 302°F (150°C). Stabodrill HT is cross-linked and therefore very fermentation stable. It will be completely biodegrade after an extended time period. Stabodrill HT Premium is an economical alternative to CMC or PAC products. Stabodrill HT is designed for use as a fluid loss control additive in drilling fluids where biocides are not permitted but resistance against fermentation and high temperature stability are required.
Stabodrill HT is suitable for all water-based drilling, workover and completions fluids. All our products exceed the industry standards for fluid loss laid down in API 13A, ISO 13500, OCMA DFCP5.
