PaperFoam Academy visit

The PaperFoam Academy visited Novidon with nine members. PaperFoam is a Dutch based company that produces biobased packaging solutions that consists of 70% potato starch. The starch they use is produced by Novidon. The PaperFoam Academy is a traineeship for graduates who get to know all departments of PaperFoam and its suppliers.

They visited the Novidon head office and plant. There they saw how Novidon produces native potato starch from side-stream potato starch. Industrial Native starch is very suitable for biobased packaging. PaperFoam uses Industrial Native starch for a specific product they produce: the Rondeel egg-tray.
